About Me

A Spring Sweater

I am counting down the days until spring arrives. I can’t wait to pack up my winter boots, jackets, and scarves. While spring doesn’t usually necessitate tank tops and flip flops, I do enjoy wearing beautiful pastel colored short sleeved shirts at this time. To stay warm during the cool spring mornings and nights, I often slip on a colorful sweater over my short sleeved blouse. Sweaters are a great way to bridge the gap in your wardrobe between the cold winter months and the hot summer months. If you currently don’t own any spring sweaters, now is a great time to stock up on them. On this blog, you will learn how to find the perfect sweaters to match your spring shirts. Enjoy!

Packing Properly For Your Next Golf Outing

by Anna Obrien

When you hit the course, you want to look as good as it feels to take that first swing. If you care for your golf clothing properly and pack it up right when you're traveling to an outing, you are sure to look awesome as you approach the first green. Here, you'll find a few tips that can help you keep your men's golf clothing looking great.

Packing Properly

How much stuff will you really need for your outing? Well, for each day that you're planning to stay, you'll need at least two changes of clothes: one for golf and one for events or dinner in the evening, such as a pair of nice trousers and a clean button down or polo shirt.

As you pack, make sure that everything is folded just right. The more time you spend folding and positioning the clothes in the luggage, the fewer wrinkles you'll have to deal with later. If you invest in good golf clothing, it will be wrinkle resistant, and the wrinkles will fall out when you hang them after you arrive at the hotel.

Don't over pack the luggage. If you find that you've packed too many things, stop and think about what you've just stuffed in there–what is it that you don't need? Remove a few unnecessary items, like towels (you can get those from the hotel).

Before you pack your metal spike golf shoes, contact the club to make sure that metal spikes are allowed as many clubs have opted to ban metal spikes. Once you know what shoes to take with you, put them in a small cloth bag and place them inside the suitcase. If you don't have a cloth bag for your shoes, you can tuck them neatly inside a pillowcase to protect your clothing from odors and dirt.

Unpacking and Preparing the Clothes for Wear

As soon as you get to the hotel and are settled in, unpack your luggage. The longer you allow the clothes to stay crammed inside, the more difficult the wrinkles will be to remove. If you find that the clothes already have wrinkled, hang them in the bathroom and turn the shower on high to steam the wrinkles out as they hang.

Most hotel rooms come with irons and ironing boards, but if you act quickly and have chosen the right clothes for the trip, you shouldn't need it.

Once the packing is done, you're on your way! Have a great time and look awesome while doing it.
