At one time, a good wristwatch was a must-have accessory for most people. In today's world full of screens that tell the time and do an almost infinite number of other things besides, watches have become less ubiquitous, especially among the younger generation. Between 1991 and 2014, the number of watches sold worldwide dropped from 750 million to 440 million, or about 2% a year. In 2010, only 25% of teenagers wore a watch.
